Spiritual creative pursuits, artistic endeavors, service to the community, awareness of environmental issues, and concern for the common good are all part of the Benildean education.
The College’s learner-centered philosophy is founded on the belief that each student is endowed by God with talents and gifts that should be understood, appreciated and nurtured.
Inside the twelve-storey hotel-school are function rooms; demonstration bar and kitchens; institutional hot, cold and baking kitchens; and food, nutritional and computer laboratories. AKIC also shares space with Hotel Benilde, a fully functioning hotel with 46 guest rooms and a fine dining restaurant which serve as training facilities for students.
The College runs industry standard kitchen laboratories and SHRIM hatcheries - Hotel Benilde, Vatel Restaurant, Green Cuisine, Andrew Café and Chef Station - which are training grounds for students to apply what they learn in an actual work environment.
